Clown Springtrap

Clown Springtrap

Physical Appearance

Overall Form: He has a bulky, decayed clown-like form, with a rotting, animatronic skeleton underneath. His body is dressed in a distorted clown costume, which appears torn and dirty, adding to the unsettling look.
Head & Face: His face is a mix of a typical creepy clown and the signature decaying animatronic look associated with Springtrap. His clown makeup features a cracked white face with exaggerated blue and red face paint around his eyes and mouth, likely meant to mimic traditional clown makeup. His eyes are wide and terrifying, with an eerie glow. His expression is permanently twisted into a disturbing grin, with sharp, rotting teeth visible beneath the makeup.
Costume: He wears a large, dilapidated clown suit, colored in dark reds and browns, which looks old and tattered. Large pompoms are visible down the front of his costume, adding to the clown aesthetic. His outfit is adorned with oversized yellow buttons, a large red bow tie, and frills around his neck and wrists.
Weapon: He is holding an enormous mallet with a red and diamond-patterned design on the drum. The mallet looks like a typical clown prop but takes on a sinister quality in his decaying, skeletal hands.
Decay & Damage: Like Springtrap’s usual appearance, this version of the character shows visible signs of wear and decay. His suit is torn in places, revealing the metallic endoskeleton underneath. The animatronic structure seems damaged, with wires poking out, and parts of his costume are stained or frayed.
Clown Hair & Headpiece: He has colorful, scruffy hair, typical of clown characters, but it is matted and uneven. Two bunny-like ears, a Springtrap trademark, are positioned on top of his head. These appear decayed and bent, contributing to the overall unnerving aesthetic.

Mechanic

Clown Springtrap’s mechanic is as menacing as his appearance, and dealing with him requires quick reactions:

  1. Monitor Appearance: Clown Springtrap will randomly show up on your camera feed. The moment he appears, your best course of action is to either close the monitor or switch to a different camera immediately.
  2. Watching Him Too Long: If you linger on the camera feed while he’s present, he’ll raise his massive mallet and smash the monitor. This action will cause visible cracks and marks on the screen, obstructing your view for the rest of the night, making it harder to monitor other areas.
  3. Temperature Trigger: Clown Springtrap will only make his appearance if the temperature in the environment exceeds 100°. Keeping an eye on the temperature is crucial to prevent his arrival in the first place.
